What causes some people to form cysts in their body while others do not?

I get Baker’s Cysts in my knees and Ovarian Cysts on my ovaries. What’s the deal with all of the cysts?! Are the two connected? I mean, am I just more prone to developing cysts in different parts of my body or is this just a coincidence that I have cysts in two different parts of my body?
Ovarian Cysts….how serious are they and what are the symptoms?

It has been a long time since Ive experienced ovarian cysts. I mean about 12 years ago. I dont quite remember what the pain was like. I think I might have some again though. I hate going into total detail about things like this, but if it will help….First thing was after sex i started spotting, then experienced pain in my lower abdomen. That was 2 days ago. I am still having the pain. Sometimes its a dull ache, but if i try to bend over it hurts worse. Has anyone else had these and remember what the pain felt like? Its like a pressured pain. Could I have them again???
Does ovarian cysts (pcos) cause abdominal pain after sex?

I have had ovarian cysts for over a few years now and I am only 18. One dr has even said I have pcos. My periods are very irregular.
yesterday I had sex 3 times (not right after another) throughout the day. The first time I was fine. The second time i bleed after. I didnt think anything of it. I thought it just could be because he had a piercing and cut me or something. It wasnt like pooring or anything. After that I started getting some cramping but nothing too bad. The third time if he’d get deep enough id get a sharp pain for a second. And after sex the cramps got even worse. And i still have them now. It hurts to even move. I’m not sure if maybe im just sore because im not use to having sex because im not very active. And no we didnt do any weird positions or anything. I’m not pregnant. So I dont know can my cysts be the problem? If not what could be? If so is there anyway I can have sex without feeling the pain?
No I dont have a fever. It hurt more this morning. Now when I move it does hurt pretty bad but nothing too severe. I almost got teary from it a bit ago. Its just very uncomfortable.

Can cysts cause an ectopic pregnancy?

I had an ectopic last year which caused me to have surgery. Only part of my right tube was removed. I did not have any of the common reasons for the ectopic. The doc said I can only get pregnant now if its in my left tube.I do have ovarian cysts. Is there anyway to have a successful pregnancy?
Can an Ovarian Cyst cause a UTI?

Have a history of ovarian cysts, one of which resulted in my appendix being removed to help alleviate the pain. Now, I have the similar right lower abdominal discomfort I get when I have these cysts, but now I also have a burning sensation when I urinate. I took an OTC diagnostic test for UTI which came back negative for nitrites but positive for leukocytes (white blood cells).
Let me rephrase: Is it theoretically possible that an ovarian cyst, growing initially on one’s ovary can then continue to grow to press on the bladder, in which case an infection may occur within the bladder?
Also, I have had ovarian cysts that go away on their own, not causing an infection.
