It has been a long time since Ive experienced ovarian cysts. I mean about 12 years ago. I dont quite remember what the pain was like. I think I might have some again though. I hate going into total detail about things like this, but if it will help….First thing was after sex i started spotting, then experienced pain in my lower abdomen. That was 2 days ago. I am still having the pain. Sometimes its a dull ache, but if i try to bend over it hurts worse. Has anyone else had these and remember what the pain felt like? Its like a pressured pain. Could I have them again???

I’ve been having these pains in my pelvis for over 6 weeks now. My last period was particularly painful and a bit lighter than usual. I’m on the pill. When I was first prescribed it, 5 years ago, it worked well- reducing period pains and making them lighter, but then I started to have breakthrough bleeding and what seemed to be ovulation pains. The doc changed my pill and it seemed to improve. Then 6 weeks ago I started to have these pains again. They move from side to side or sometimes travel right accross my lower abdomen. I thought pregnancy was the cause at first, but have taken several tests and they’ve all come back negative. I’ve no other symptoms, just these pains/aches in my pelvis. I’ve heard that ovarian cysts can cause these type of pains, but women rarely get them when they’re on the pill. Is it possible though?
