Ovarian Cysts….how serious are they and what are the symptoms?

It has been a long time since Ive experienced ovarian cysts. I mean about 12 years ago. I dont quite remember what the pain was like. I think I might have some again though. I hate going into total detail about things like this, but if it will help….First thing was after sex i started spotting, then experienced pain in my lower abdomen. That was 2 days ago. I am still having the pain. Sometimes its a dull ache, but if i try to bend over it hurts worse. Has anyone else had these and remember what the pain felt like? Its like a pressured pain. Could I have them again???
Ovarian pain?

I’ve been getting this pain off and on for the past 8 months in my lower right abdomen…..well, it’s really low actually, like just above my pubic hair on the right side, where I think my ovary is. It just comes and goes, on average happens probably once every 2 weeks or so, it’s like a sharp pain at first then it’s a dull ache and it can last anything from a couple of hours to a couple of days.
It’s NOT ovulation pain, because I’m on the pill so I don’t ovulate.
I just wondered if anyone had any ideas of what it could be? Does it sound like it’s in the right area to be caused by an ovary? Can ovarian cysts cause pain?
I didn’t say it wasn’t ovarian pain, I said it wasn’t OVULATION pain. And it doesn’t feel like that, because I used to get that before I went on the pill and it feels different to that. And it’s happening about every 2 weeks, which also goes against ovulation pain, as that should only happen every 4 weeks.

Help, I have 2 ovarian cysts. It hurts. What do I do?

I have had ALL the symtoms for some time now. But some of them for years!! i just had an ultrasound on monday. i was told each ovary has a cyst. One is 2.0 cm, one is 1.8 cm. 2 months ago I had EXTREME pain. So my Dr says, it may have burst back then. The thing is, today, right now, it hurts, Always on my left side (which has the smaller cyst). It’s a sharp throbbing sometimes piercing pain. Theres always a dull ache there, but today its hurting all over again. My lower back is killing me. Do I call my Dr for pain meds? (nothing over the counter works). Doc said will repaet ultrasound in 2 months to see if theyre getting smaller or bigger. Am I going to hurt until then? Do I continue my normal activities? Why do I have these? Im 33, tubes tied, had 4 children. How long can you have cysts? Cause some of those symptoms Ive had for about 3 years. The peeing all night, lower back pain, and sharp pain in abdomin is new symptoms. What do I do now? Suffer till I get them rechecked?

Ladies with ovarian cysts-What were your symptoms, and do mine sound normal?

I have-some bloating, a dull ache in the lower left side of my back (dr. thinks cyst is on my left side) I have some pain when I urinate. I sometimes have a dull ache in my abdomen. I have pain on my lower left side, but it’s not constant. More than anything, my stomach is upset. I go from being nauseaus to having gas pains-of course, that may be from my nerves!!
I’ve seen my regular doctor, had blood tests to rule out other things. She is fairly confident that it is a cyst. I’m having an US on Wednesday.

symptoms of ovarian cysts??? help pleasee?

ok so im a teenager and for the past month almost ive had a dull ache in the lower section of my abdominal area it comes and goes and sometimes is worse than others and its on both sides i also have had some very slight vaginal and pelvic pain and also lower back pain ive had some head aches and dizziness as well i mean ive never been doubled over in pain but its definately there so i went to my doctor and she said she thought it was ovarian cysts so we scheduled an ultrasound im nervous because i keep thinking it could be ovarian cancer but does it sound like cysts to you??? HELPP MEE
