I’m having 2 ultrasounds this Friday to see how large it is and I’m going on birth control once I find out. My doctor thinks it’s probably large because it’s causing problems with my appendix & bladder & stuff..
How do they treat ovarian cysts besides birth control pills?
I’ve heard there’s surgery and sometimes you have to have the ovary removed. I’m really confused :

How do I get rid of Ovarian cysts?

I have ovarian cysts and they are very painful especially when I work out. I had them in the past and was given birth control pills by my doctor. The pills helped, but I gained weight in the process. Does anyone knows how to get rid of them, non-surgically? Anybody has ever had cysts before? Serious answers are welcome!!
are oral contraceptives more effective against reducing the risk of ovarian cysts than nuva ring?

I have a cyst on my ovary and I have heard that taking birth control pills helps with ovarian cysts. Does the Nuva Ring not do this?

What Causes Ovarian Cysts While on Birth Control Pills…And Could This Affect Their Effectiveness?

I’m 19 years old, and I’ve been on low dose birth control pills for about six months now. Last month, I had to go to the ER because I had an ovarian cyst that had ruptured. I was just wondering what could possibly cause ovarian cysts while on birth control, when I’m NOT supposed to be ovulating? Also, is there a possibility that this could affect the effectivenss of the pill, or be an indication that it isn’t effective? Thanks for the help!
