irregular period. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for almost a year and I havent had a period since late April. I have taken 3 home pregnancy tests in the past 2 weeks and they have all read positive. However, I have no pregnancy symptoms except I do feel tired and I am having to pee during the night. Do you think an ovarian cyst can cause a false positive test 3 times?!?

hi! i got the same this Co’s me to go insane tryin to have a baby I’ve been tryin for three years now and no luck plz have them removed.just lately i had a incident were has i missed period for 3months and went to doctor took test it was positive the went back a month later it was false.it was very hard for me to deal wit it.and wen u do fall pregnant sorry to say you could miscarry.so plz go and have this checked out..good luck cheers..
talk to your doctor about it, go to planned parenthood they can help you, have you had swelling or breast tenderness? when did you have your last period? theres a chance you could be pregnant. it could be. have you had any cravings lately? if so, then that could b a sign? call the genacalogyst they can help you. if something is really wrong then you need to.
i might be able to.. but i think that if you have had cysts then you should go to the doctor ASAP… if you are prgnact they should know to start tests….
My wife says that she had the same thing at one time, and that it is posiable to have false test with your condition. you need to see your doctor.

I don’t think an ovarian cyst will give you a false positive but you can be pregnant and not have symptoms. By symptoms do you mean morning sickness and things like that? I had two healthy boys. The first time I had all the symptoms. The second time I had no symptoms. In fact, I didn’t find out I was pregnant the 2nd time until I was almost 8 weeks along!! I still had a period but they were light and I didn’t think anything was wrong. I went to the MD to get my BC pills refilled and that’s when he told me. Boy, was I shocked, thrilled, but shocked. Just go to your MD and make sure he knows you may have a cyst then let him take care of the rest. Good Luck and God Bless.
An ovarian cyst won’t release hormones so it couldn’t cause a false positive. Congratulations.
I dont think so..not unless you have certain tumors or are taking certain meds with HCG in them. If you are really early in a pregnancy its possible to get a positive and not have symptoms. i didnt get any symptoms with my first preg. and I got some with this one but around 6 weeks. I also have a history or ovarian cysts..had surgery when I was 17 because of it..and well on pregnancy number 2! Good luck!
