Ovarian Cysts?

I was just wondering i have been looking up common symptoms of ovarian cysts and severe bloating of the belly isnt one? but has anyone else had this? I am having a biopsy done to look at my cyst because they doc says it looks abnormal? Has anyone else experienced bloating as well as other symptoms with ovarian cysts?

Yes bloating is a symptom of an ovarian cyst. So is severe pain on the side of your body with the ovary that has the cyst on it. The pain usually happens when you would be ovulating. Pain during intercourse is another symptom. Abnormal or absent periods, weight gain particularly around the abdomen, facial hair, thinning hair on your head, and constipation alternating with diarrhea can all be symptoms of an ovarian cyst.
That’s not to say that you will have all of the symptoms because it will be different for every woman.

There are so many symptoms and non-symptoms related to ovarian cysts – best to rely on your doctor’s opinion for further evaluation and less worried about the specific symptoms. Please get well soon.
I have had more than one ovarian cyst, and yes I have bloating all the time. I have the cysts again and again. They grow and disappear and they do sometimes cause me pain. The doctor even went so far as to recommend surgery in a few more months if it did not go away ( it did) I hope that yours does too, but please continue to get it checked as they can grow into something worse.
Yeah I thought I was pregnant. I had a teratoma or something like that.
I had a tumor removed that grew off of my ovary. Before I knew anything was wrong my abdomen was unusually hard and I looked bloated. The tumor was just like a balloon filled with fluid that grew up to 40 lbs, and I had to have it removed. It was benign, but they had to remove my ovary. I still had a child with one ovary and have no signs of any more tumor. Please get it looked at, and do not put it off, they had to give me 40 staples in my abdomen to remove the darn thing and I have a huge scar down my stomach. Other than that, it did not interfere with my organs, but I had alot of back pain carrying that unnecessary weight around. Good luck and take care of it asap!
Also known as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Symptoms can include irregular periods, reduced fertility, weight gain, excess hair growth. As for the bloating, not usually associated with PCOS. It could be a varying range of gynacological problems, but also may be associated with your diet eg: fibre intake, vegetables/ legumes intake etc. Your Doctor will source the problem accurately.
Yes, I just had a CT Scan and dignosed with ovarian cysts, I have alot of bloating, severe stomach and back pain, vomiting, 2 periods a month… But I have a doc… appointment tommorrow to see whats going o happen, Good LUCK!!!
